Zelore Legal

Terms of Service

Last updated: 19 July 2026

These terms govern the use of Zelore — the appointment-booking and patient-communication platform at zelore.in — by patients who book through a clinic's WhatsApp number and by clinic teams who use the dashboard. By messaging a clinic through Zelore or signing in to the dashboard, you accept them.

1.What these terms cover

“Zelore”, “we” and “us” mean the operators of the Zelore platform. “Clinic” means a healthcare practice that uses Zelore to take bookings and message its patients. “You” means anyone using the service — a patient chatting with a clinic on WhatsApp, or a member of a clinic’s team using the dashboard.

Separate written agreements between Zelore and a clinic take precedence over these terms for that clinic where they conflict.

2.What Zelore is — and is not

Zelore is software: it carries booking conversations, manages appointment schedules, and sends appointment-related messages on a clinic’s behalf, including automated replies generated by an AI assistant.

Zelore is not a healthcare provider. Nothing sent through the platform — including replies from the AI assistant — is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. All care decisions are solely between you and your clinic.

Do not use Zelore in an emergency. If you have a medical emergency, call your local emergency number or go to the nearest hospital immediately.

3.Bookings

  • A booking request becomes an appointment when the clinic confirms it.
  • The clinic controls its schedule and may reschedule or cancel appointments; Zelore relays those changes.
  • Provide accurate details when booking — the clinic relies on them to prepare for your visit.
  • Appointment reminders are a convenience, not a guarantee; missing a reminder does not change your appointment.

4.Clinic staff accounts

  • Dashboard accounts are created for people a clinic authorizes; access ends when the clinic deactivates them.
  • Keep your credentials confidential and do not share accounts.
  • You are responsible for actions taken under your account; tell your clinic and us promptly if you suspect it is compromised.
  • We may suspend an account to protect the service or its data.

5.Clinic responsibilities

Each clinic using Zelore is responsible for:

  • Having a lawful basis — including patient consent where required — for the patient data it collects and enters into Zelore, and for the messages it sends.
  • The accuracy of its schedule, services, and patient records.
  • Meeting its own obligations as a data fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and its professional and record-keeping obligations as a healthcare provider.
  • Honouring patient requests to stop receiving WhatsApp messages.

6.Acceptable use

You must not:

  • Use the service for anything unlawful, abusive, or harassing.
  • Send spam or marketing through it, or message people who have not agreed to be contacted.
  • Probe, disrupt, or overload the service, or try to access data that is not yours — including another clinic's data.
  • Copy, resell, or reverse-engineer the platform.

7.Privacy

How we handle personal data — including patient data — is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms. WhatsApp itself is provided by Meta under Meta’s own terms.

8.Availability and changes

We work to keep Zelore available and reliable, but it depends on third-party services (including the WhatsApp Business Platform) and may be interrupted, changed, or updated. Clinics remain able to manage appointments by other means when the service is unavailable.

9.Intellectual property

The Zelore software, design, and branding belong to us. Clinic data — patient records, schedules, message history — belongs to the clinic. These terms give each side only the rights needed to run the service.

10.Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for the acts or omissions of any clinic or healthcare provider, or for outcomes of care. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11.Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms, for security reasons, or where the law requires. Clinics may stop using the service at any time; on termination we assist with the return or deletion of the clinic’s data as described in the Privacy Policy.

12.Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any rights you have under law that cannot be excluded.

13.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new “last updated” date. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
